Dementia Support System
This system is designed to reduce worry and stress for the carer while maintaining full protection for the person at risk.
Additional sensors are available which can add further protection, eg detecting wandering outside a safe area using radio location technology.
The Dementia Support System offers a ready-to-go monitor package for those supporting someone with Dementia, Alzheimers or ADHI.
The system comprises two door activity sensors that alert you when either door is opened by a clear unambiguous alarm on the neat, simple pager.
There is also an infra-red motion sensor that can be used in many ways to add protection from high risk activities. It can easily be used to:
- Detect mobility at night
- Detect intrusion into a bathroom or kitchen, or other high risk area
- Detect exit from a safe room
The system has a radio range of up to 450 meters, more than adequate for the largest home including the garden.
